Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture in Canada. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online.
Project Brief
This project was a collaboration between Wilkim Tan (now part of Blank Studios) and CreativeOthers (a creative marketing and brand design agency based in Vancouver, BC).
Culture Days requires a short intro animation for the shows they were producing which were shown during their live events. Multiple intros with different sponsor combinations were needed to be produced.
CreativeOthers was tasked with the creative marketing aspect of the project while Wilkim Tan was tasked in creating the Intro Animation on their behalf.

Intro Animation
We were tasked to create a high quality intro animation while strictly adhering to the Client’s brand guide. It was also important that we were able to represent British Columbia’s rich culture of indigenous arts and craft in the animation which is shown through the use of indeginous music as well as multiple animated assets. Lastly multiple versions of the intro was produced with different sponsors and presenters.
